The Mondial des Pinots goes to the International Spätburgunder Symposium in Bad Neunahr

For the first time ever, some 2016 Mondial des Pinots awarded wines were presented to a large panel of Pinots experts and specialists last March 11^th and 12^th in Bad Neunahr (Germany).

“This event entirely done for Pinot noir is the ideal place to present our competition and to invite the present producers to enter the competition” says Michael Balmer, member of the board of the VINEA committee, during the Symposium.

More than 50 wine producers coming from Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, South Africa, New Zealand and the United States took the opportunity to promote their wines for two days.

The awarded Gran Maestro du Mondial des Pinots 2016 “Pinot Noir Schloss Halbturn (Austria) was part of the wines poured during the Pinot Excellence Gala Dinner where outstanding food creation were presented.
