Mondial du Merlot & Assemblages: record number of entries, 139 medals awarded
The 13th edition of the Mondial du Merlot & Assemblages competition took place in Sierre from September 4th – 6th 2020. The highest-ever number of entries was achieved this year, breaking the previous record (500): 511 wines from 16 countries competed for a medal. A total of 139 medals were awarded, including three Great Gold awards attributed to Swiss producers.
